Waterjet Cutting
Using LCS’ waterjet cutting services, custom shapes and parts can be cut with a whole new level of accuracy and reliability.
LCS’ 2 - 8’ x 13’ Waterjet tables have given us an advantage in waterjet cutting. With the largest cutting table in Western Michigan we are able to handle (3) 4’ x 8’ sheets at one time on each machine as well as large oversized plates. The waterjet capabilities are virtually endless because it’s suited for a wide range of materials and thicknesses.
Because it involves no chemicals or heat, warping and distortion that is typically associated with a laser, plasma, or flame table is eliminated, minimizing or excluding the need for a secondary process. In addition, the waterjet can hold tight tolerances of +/- .005” depending on material type and thickness.
